1987 custom built Eddy Merckx bicycle with all Campagnolo "C-Record" components. Met Eddy Merckx at the World Championships in Colorado Springs in 1986. Eddy himself measured me for the frame in his hotel room. Frame was shipped direct from Belgium and bike was put together in Orange County, California. Rode it competitively for a decade. Had the bike custom painted from its original red/white scheme to its current pearl white color in 1990. Has been sitting in garage since. Time to pass this legend on to the next road racer.
