Selling my mom's 2005 Eddie bauer 4x4 ford explorer with the 4.6l v8 (same block as 5.0 and same motor for mustang same year range)fully loaded w/ tow package including adapter . Sun roof , power everything , cd am/fm premium sound system with built in amp and subwoofer , heated front seats , power driver seat with memory settings , door keypad entry , key fob keyless entry and alarm, tons of storage space throughout vehicle , roof rack, rear wiper, dual rear door access, rear ac/heat control, center console , multiple drink holders front to back, tons of storage , heater core 110 plug adapter for cold climate engine block warming , fog lamps , running boards , leather interior , multiple disk in dash cd player, 2nd owner from 2009 precious owner dealership used as salesmans work to home car briefly . Mom purchased truck from cal Worthington at 44,000 miles approx. Currently at around 154,000 . Always maintained religiously every 3000 miles , never ever taken off road its entire life , never used 4x4 ever . To and from her job in Irvine, cal. From Laguna Niguel, ca daily and very short errand trips around town and Laguna beach . 2 trips to Reno to visit grandson(very comfortable trips) , never involved in accidents other than rubbing against 2 posts while moving but no hits or crashes at speed ! Vehicle needs a little tlc but over all this is a solid truck with life in it still to work! Good power from engine and can tow just abiut anything you need without issue. Those are the pros. Cons. Needs suspension replaced , transfer case serviced (oil change and lube) brake system overhaul , transmission service (fluid change and lube) potentially some new gaskets (due to age ) , driver seat motor replaced or repaired . It is an older vehicle totally original never abused ! My mom is 84 and can't handle a big truck like this anymore ! Only selling because I can't afford to replace parts myself!
