The Roubaix's reputation is to smooth out rough roads and keep you comfortable in the saddle. It's an endurance geometry that will keep you riding all day while also making a difference from the moment you swing over the bike. Made with Specialized carbon. That high quality carbon makes it lightweight at only 17lbs and still gets you the stiffness through the bottom bracket where you need it. Also has some neat comfort features like the ZERTZ inserts in the fork and stays to soak up even more vibration before it gets to your hands or rear end. Paired to an Ultegra groupset for smooth and consistent shifting every time. Nice to see a fully matched group, with Ultegra shifting, derailleurs, brakes, and crankset. Rear derailleur the the mountain version for a larger range cassette and easier climbing. Rolling on a nice set of Fulcrum wheels that spin smooth and are plenty durable. Really excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically.
The Roubaix Expert is a lightweight and race worthy, yet comfortable ride. High quality carbon, endurance geometry, nice Ultegra groupset, plenty of climbing range cassette, and quality Fulcrum wheels bring a lot of bike for the money. The Roubaix Expert would be an upgrade for a lot of riders or a good way to get into the sport.
