Comes with a legendary SRAM XX1 Eagle Power Meter. When mountain bike training gets serious, having a Power Meter measure and track your power (watts) is key to providing key details for training. Quarq is one of the leaders in power technology and happens to be owned by SRAM, so the interface between the two is amazing as you would expect.
DON'T WORRY IF YOU FIND YOURSELF LINED UP NEXT TO A WEIGHT-WEENIE ON AN UPHILL-ONLY MACHINE. THIS SB100 TENDS TO DISMISS SUCH QUESTIONS IN A HURRY.
-- The SB100 capabilities are far from niche; it'll feel like an extremely capable XC-Country bike to some, and an efficient, sharp-handling DOWN-Country trail bike to others.
-- Feel -- Efficient, capable, direct, the SB100 puts the CHARGE! back in XC/All Mountain biking.
-- Paradoxical Performance -- Uphill strong. Downhill stronger. It isn't uncommon to find riders on the SB100 keeping pace with others on longer travel rigs. Racing, or not.
-- Low slung top tube, and an uninterrupted seat tube to fit today’s full stroke droppers for today’s trans-style race whips.
-- A lighter Switch -- Short-travel specific design of Switch Infinity, turned 90 degrees and optimized for lighter weight and efficiency.
-- Anti-Squat -- Across our line, we have chosen a relatively flat and high anti-squat curve in the beginning and mid-section of travel where pedaling commonly occurs a.k.a the pedaling zone. This creates an efficient pedaling platform through your entire pedaling zone, there is an inflection point where the Switch Infinity link moves down, dropping the anti-squat drastically. Riders are typically not pedaling in this zone, so chain forces have less of an effect on the suspension performance. Decoupling of the chain forces allows the suspension to work more efficiently to absorb impacts making the feel of a Yeti distinct.
