I have been told by Cannondale that this may be the only new unused bike of its kind in the world, making it extremely rare! The bike was fairly listed for $15,000.00 according to Cannondale Corporate because of its very, very rare condition. Then a final closeout price of under 9K! This is an unbelievably reduced price for this rare bike, and its very rare condition is at my final price of $9,999.88. I have people contacting me all the time, and this bike for a long time now with crazy offers and exchanging things of supposedly much greater value, but I'm only interested in selling it outright, no trades, just to someone who will appreciate the rarity and quality and value of what they're getting.
Although this bike is 100% perfectly rideable, because of its rarity, it should really be considered as a piece of art and therefore part of someone's fine collection of bicycles, in my opinion.
This low price it's for the bike, as you see, it is fully functional any and all accessories other than the bike itself would be a separate purchase.
*I have many more photos to show you if you'd like to see them, or I can take more for you.
This bike was about $6,000.00 when I bought it in 1999 it plus tax. The bike is fully equipped.
This bike is one of a kind and in unbelievable, unridden, unused, brand new condition, about 26 years old now.
* One version of this bike was subject to a major recall; my serial number is in the photos, so if you check with Cannondale, you will find my particular bike and version was not one of them. It is perfect.
It is my understanding from the experts that this bike is handmade as much as possible and made in the United States.
The FRAME IS A MEDIUM. I AM ALMOST 5FT 10 INCHES TALL, IF THAT HELPS YOU WITH THE SIZE.
I EVEN HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL BROCHURES, INSTRUCTION MANUALS, AND VIDEOS THAT CAME WITH THE BIKE.
*ONE OF THE LAST HAND-MADE CANNONDALE BIKES MADE IN THE USA.
BRAND-NEW (UNUSED) IN PERFECT FLAWLESS CONDITION. I THINK IT IS A 10 OUT OF 10, IT MAY BE THE ONLY ONE OF THESE SPECIAL BIKES LEFT IN THE WORLD TODAY! BEFORE THE BIKE IS SHIPPED OUT TO YOU, I INSIST AT MINIMUM WE TAKE A NEW SET OF PHOTOS SO YOU CAN DETERMINE ITS CONDITION YOURSELF, REGARDLESS OF WHAT I SAY!
BECAUSE OF THIS BIKES' RARITY AND NEVER HAVING BEEN USED, ALL SALES MUST BE FINAL AND NO RETURNS ARE ALLOWED. THIS RARE BIKE CAN ONLY BE THIS WAY ONE TIME!
I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS SO EXPENSIVE THAT I WAS ALWAYS PUTTING OFF RIDING IT, AND AFTER A FEW YEARS OF NOT EVER RIDING IT, I DECIDED TO KEEP IT AS A COLLECTABLE, AND THAT IS THE WAY IT HAS STAYED. IT IS IN SO-CALLED BRAND-NEW AND FLAWLESS CONDITION.
*BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ARRANGING FOR AND PAYING FOR THE COST OF PACKAGING, SHIPPING, AND INSURANCE FOR THIS VERY RARE SPECIAL BIKE.

* Note
Since I bought it new in 1999, I have kept the bike in a climate-controlled room where I keep other valuable items. I decided to never use the bike because it was so expensive back then, and it looks so beautiful. It has remained at about 68 degrees Fahrenheit year-round and keeps the bike clean and conditioned. It has stayed laid down, so they are no stress on the frame under a thick, breathable, expensive shear bike cover. The bike was checked out in the last few years or so at a well-known bike shop out here called Stage 21, one of Cannondale's top bike shops in the country, and they were blown away that the bike as new condition, let alone maybe the only possible new unused one in the world today. It is a bike for a collector to be honest, because of its remarkable condition.
