For sale here the hands down favorite best riding electric bike conversion model that I have built. Every time we head out on our night time Skunk Works rides, there is someone riding this bike and loves riding it! For a rigid frame 24" bike, it handles awesome and has plenty of power and great brakes to slow it down. This has just been updated with a brand new, high quality Hailong 15 Amp Hour hard battery that is lockable and removable so you can remove the battery and take it with you if you want.

It started out with a brand new flat black Retrospec Dart 24" Hybrid bicycle. It's a beautiful riding bike without any modifications. Then I swapped out the stock seat for something more comfortable. I replaced the straight mountain bike handlebars for nice ape hangers for a more comfortable ride. This is powered by a 48 volt 500 watt geared front wheel hub kit with a color display and has 5 PAS speeds. It's really tame in PAS 1 for a new rider. This is configured for throttle only ad has a twist throttle setup. I don't install pedal assist on my bikes but I will give the buyer the sensor and wiring if you want to include it on the bike.

Regarding the range you will get out of a full charge on the battery, I read a lot of electric bike claims on Amazon regarding pedal assist or throttle only and it's my opinion that they exaggerate on virtually all of them. I assume that riding this bike mellow with this battery should hold up for 20 miles or so in the lower speeds.

I just took it for a little ride in my neighborhood and in PAS 5, I got to about 26.5 MPH which is pretty good. A new 48 Volt battery charger is included. If you run out of battery, the bike pedals and shifts great and the V brakes work great to stop this bike. It's not too heavy pedaling it without power either. A rear luggage rack can be added and an even bigger battery can be mounted there if you like. This bike has a total of 39.5 miles on the odometer since new when it was built. Thanks for looking!
