Purchased car April 27, 2016 for $2,500 with just over 112,000 miles on the odometer. I immediately had Temecula Valley Buick do just over $2,700 in numerous repairs to include new rear air shocks. Completed an additional $4,300 or so in additional maintenance until 2025. Current mileage is only 131,805.
Things wrong with this car. Needs the transmission rebuilt or replaced. Only runs in 1st gear normally, slips in all other gears. Both front windows need new regulators. Rear right window also needs new regulator. Heater doesn't get very warm. Paint is failing on the top (clear coat flaking off). Front CV boots torn. Steering rack leaking some, but operational with no play.
Things fixed on this car. Tires have 90% tread from new (purchased at Costco). New radiator & cap; new upper and lower radiator hose; new A/C Compressor; new A/C line on firewall; New ECU (engine computer); new coils; new plug wires; new spark plugs; relatively new belt; replaced front valve cover; new wiper blades; replaced front RT lower ball joint; new brake rotors; new brank pads; and other things.
Engine starts right up and runs great! No missing, smooth running. V-6 has 200 HP. Interior in good condition. The car has had regular oil change intervals (less than 3,000 miles) and for the past 5 years, I've been using AMSOIL Signature Series oil.
The car needs some TLC, but is very comfortable to drive. If you replaced / rebuilt the transmission, it would last another 120k miles easy. Gets over 20 mpg hwy.
Price is firm. It's worth $1,000. If don't sell, will keep and store to fix. Great incognito car.
Must meet in person in Temecula. CASH ONLY. No other payment options will be accepted. Must go to Temecula DMV with me to transfer title real time. Will not travel. Will not ship. Will not communicate via email outside of Craigslist so don't ask.
