I have a PhD in Comparative Literature and have been teaching university-level English composition, as well as ancient to contemporary literature, for 15 years. In addition, through my editing services I have assisted numerous undergraduate students in finding graduate school placement at UC schools and graduate students find placement as professors. I also have nearly 20 years of experience in tutoring individuals in English, reading, and writing in a friendly, warm manner.
I edit and offer coaching for books, novels, fiction, nonfiction, short stories, screenplays, blogs, papers, academic essays, resumes, CVs, college applications (undergraduate, graduate, and post-doc), website content, cover letters and more! I edit all aspects of the work needed, but I particularly specialize in rhetoric, style, tone, and structure. My editing is very tailored to individual needs. I also offer tutoring services for reading comprehension.
I charge fair prices on a sliding scale to be paid via cash, Venmo, or PayPal and can work over the phone, through Zoom, or in person.
