The driver is responsible for safely transporting materials or company equipment between designated locations in a timely and efficient manner. This position ensures reliable daily operations by adhering to company schedules safety regulations and DOT requirements when applicable. The driver must maintain a high level of professionalism, follow all traffic laws and ensure the safe loading and unloading of passengers or materials. Additionally this role includes conducting pre-trip and post- trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues and maintaining accurate trip logs as required.
Major responsibilities
Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards customers, co-workers and management.
Operates and maintains company vehicle safely and in accordance with company policy and procedures, whether manual or automatic transmission.
Performs all physical requirements of the job, including loading the truck, transporting to customer sites, and unloading set up at customer locations.
Transporting products between warehouse locations to ensure each location has needed a sufficient amount of product for delivery
At least 1 year of route transportation experience is preferred
Requirements

Must have a clean driving record
