Duties
Assess water, fire, mold, and asbestos damage to determine the scope of restoration needed
Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and techniques
Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and repair tasks
Conduct mold remediation and asbestos abatement following safety protocols and industry standards
Clean and restore carpets, upholstery, and surfaces to their pre-damage condition
Assist with fire restoration efforts by cleaning soot, deodorizing affected areas, and restoring property integrity
Document all work performed accurately and communicate progress with team members and clients effectively
Skills
Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on water damage recovery
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces and materials
Familiarity with fire restoration procedures and mold remediation processes
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations
Good physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients during restoration projects
