Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate on-site activities, manage construction teams, ensure safety compliance, and uphold quality standards. Your leadership will drive project success by implementing efficient workflows, managing schedules, and maintaining clear communication with clients/owners. We specialize in site-work. Specifically site-concrete and asphalt paving. This position is based in Orange, CA, however we travel throughout the state for projects.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily construction site operations, ensuring work progresses according to project plans and schedules.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, general contractors, and vendors to align on project goals and timelines.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols.
Read and interpret construction documents to guide onsite activities accurately..
Create detailed records of daily reports, safety incidents, RFIs, and change orders.
Qualifications
Minimum of 7 Years of proven experience with supervising projects involving concrete and asphalt paving.
Ability to travel throughout state of CA.
Extensive knowledge of construction site safety standards.
Proficient computer skills for Outlook, Word, Excel. (Bluebeam is a +)
Demonstrated ability to read schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Strong understanding of contracts and project scheduling.
Supervisory experience leading diverse teams on active construction sites with a focus on quality control and safety.
Familiarity with construction equipment operation.
