Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Final Assembly Technician to oversee the finishing process of custom framed artwork. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high quality. This role requires skills in glass cutting, framing, reading work orders, and using basic tools.
Responsibilities:
Assemble custom frames with artwork according to client specifications and work orders
Read and interpret work orders accurately
Measure and cut glass panes precisely using a tape measure and cutting tools
Secure artwork and glass using staple guns and other fastening tools
Organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initial assembly to final inspection
Track project progress and ensure deadlines are met
Coordinate with team members and communicate updates effectively
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace
Follow safety procedures at all times
Qualifications:
Proven experience in picture framing, assembly, or related craftwork
Skilled in reading and understanding work orders
Proficient with a tape measure and cutting tools for glass and framing materials
Experienced with staple guns and basic hand tools
Strong organizational and project management skills
Exceptional attention to detail and quality control
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently
Good communication skills and team orientation
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in custom framing or art assembly
Knowledge of various framing materials and techniques
Experience with project management processes or tools
