We are looking for a high-level Structured Cabling Technician who takes pride in clean, professional installations and can work independently in commercial environments.
If you have real experience installing and troubleshooting Category and Fiber systems, can walk into an MDF/IDF and know what you’re doing, and want steady work with a professional team, we want to talk to you.
This position involves travel throughout California working on commercial network infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
• Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A structured cabling systems
• Install and terminate fiber optic cabling (single-mode and multi-mode)
• Build out MDF/IDF rooms, racks, ladder rack, and patch panels
• Install cable pathways including J-hooks, cable tray, and conduit
• Perform troubleshooting and service calls
• Maintain professional labeling, cable management, and documentation
• Work from prints, floor plans, and scope of work
• Perform cable testing and certification
• Maintain clean and safe job sites

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of structured cabling experience
• Experience installing and terminating Category cabling and fiber
• Conduit / pipe bending experience is a plus
• Experience working in commercial environments
• Strong troubleshooting and service skills
• Ability to work independently and complete service calls
• Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Must work well with others and communicate professionally

• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to travel throughout California
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must have basic hand tools for structured cabling
• Must be available for night and weekend work when required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Fluke cable certification testers
• Experience working in MDF/IDF telecom rooms
• Knowledge of TIA/EIA structured cabling standards
• Experience installing rack systems and cable management
• OSHA certification a plus
