Panel wiring-construction and installation, UPS and Generator Systems
Good working knowledge of current electrical standards, blueprints and NEC
Experience with UPS, Generator and other electrical systems
May assist in job walks and estimating projects
Build long term customer relationships by consistently meeting expectations and offering innovative solutions
Establish project goals and monitor success in reaching those objectives on an ongoing basis
Adhere to project contract document changes
Ensure the proper safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite to perform the required work
Ensure crew members start and finish work shift on time; Maintain proper meal/break times per Employee Handbook and as legally required per local labor laws and regulations
Maintain complete and accurate "as-builts" as per DSI’s procedures and project requirements
Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals including project owners, architects, general contractors, management, crew members, etc.
Ensure all work performed meets with NEC, federal, state, county, local codes and contract documents
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be a DIR Certified California Electrician
Proven experience as an electrician/foreman
Clean driving record - Company will provide Service Truck and Mobile phone
Ability to present in a professional manner and represent the company image
3-15 years "Running Work" as an electrician/foreman/PM
A minimum of two to four years of field experience working as a Journeyman Electrician
Demonstrated ability to effectively order and track materials, perform cost projections and develop "as built"
Strong, first-hand knowledge and experience related to scheduling, material lead times, product knowledge and installation durations
Solid understanding of the electrical codes and installation methods
Comfortable utilizing Electrical Single Line blueprints
Design Build commercial electrical projects a Plus!
