If you are new to welding and looking for a deal on welding equipment perhaps it might be a good idea to take some classes on Mig or Tig welding. It is not that easy to learn off of Youtube, though Youtube University is a great place to get a myriad of tips. To learn welding quickly it is a good idea to get supervised instruction in small classes. Yes you can learn how to hold the torches and perform the move but in practice are you really doing the right moves? Likely not. The problems with teaching yourself is that you can start building up bad form and habits that will prolong your learning curve and will lead to you getting inconsistent results. Supervision is key where you get feed back on what you are doing wrong as you move the torch. With the helmet on, when you are not used to it, its easy to get lost in the moment.
We offer beginners Tig (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) which is the best process for welding many materials such as mild steel, Aluminum and stainless steel.
We also offer Mig welding ( Gas Metal Arc Welding) which is a process that automatically feeds the wire and is somewhat faster than Tig welding and is more flexible in welding in many positions. It is ideal for DIY projects around the house or for many businesses operations. Mig is great for automotive restorations and is a bit easier to pick up.
Anyone can learn how to weld with proper instruction and with good equipment. You will learn about which is the best equipment to choose, take our equipment for a test ride and find out what suits you best.
We also offer a makerspace after the class where you can become a member and continue to practice and build your skills. It is a complete metal shop where any idea you have can be realized.
Classes are offered on Weekends from 1-6pm or on Week Days from 6pm to 8:30 pm Tuesday & Thursday's.
Our classes are well reviewed on Yelp and Google.
