A strong knowledge of the latest Microsoft desktop and server operating systems is helpful. We require excellent troubleshooting skills, with experience in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to communicate clearly in English and be an organized, detail-oriented individual with the ability to efficiently solve problems.
First and foremost, maintain good client relations. Our employees are our most valuable resource, our clients are a close second.
Work on 1st level technical support tickets (remote and onsite)
Maintain network and server infrastructures across multiple companies
Assist with the implementations of various projects (Servers, Virtualization, Disaster Recovery)
Invest in personal technical education (this is important. We want you to always be growing and will provide time and resources to do so)
0-2 years’ experience in Small Business IT systems (10-200 computers).
Working experience in IT consulting or MSP is a plus.
Must be able to touch type at 40 words per minute or better.
Excellent customer service skills: communication skills (both verbal and written), patience and enjoyment in interacting with end users is a MUST!
Excellent attention to details: punctuality, scheduling, documentation, record keeping, etc.
Use good judgment to effectively prioritize work
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently while focusing on high-priority tasks
Due to rapid company growth, tech must be able to keep a level head in an often-fast paced environment.
Absolutely MUST be willing to joke around and have FUN with their team!
Knowledge/experience of Active Directory is helpful. Some familiarity with setting up domain controllers, DNS, adding servers and workstations to AD, user setup, group policy, login scripts is helpful.
Knowledge/experience with Hosted Exchange
Knowledge/experience of backup systems.
Knowledge/experience of firewall systems. Cisco, and Fortinet experience is a plus but willing to train.
Knowledge/experience supporting Windows 10
Knowledge/experience with virtualization is important.
If you have worked for an IT firm, MSP, and have familiarity with Managed Services this is a huge plus.
The right candidate must be able to lift 70 pounds and have a reliable personal vehicle, valid Driver’s License, AND valid auto insurance. Must also be able to pass full Background Check and Drug Test.
