A Knickerbocker, Doll of Distinction. Purchased in 1972, then kept in storage. Is in almost perfect condition except for a tiny pinhole in the hat (from storage). Color is vibrant, design is stamped fabric: with a grey hat, /black band, grey/black striped jacket, red plaid vest, yellow bow, pink carnation, red pants and black shoes with grey spats. He is 15-1/2 inches tall, 10 inches wide at the arms.
Voice box inside body is about 3 inches by 2 inches. Pull the string to hear W.C. say:
Cash on the barrelhead.
Oh my sweet, my gazelle.
I’ve been hoodwinked.
A touch of the bubbly.
Oh, my little chickadee.
Oh, my little mountain goat.
Filet mignon my good fellow.
Ah, yes I remember.
