Vintage 1982 Scrabble board game set by Selchow & Righter Company of Bay Shore, New York. This well known family board game was first introduced by James Brunot in the summer of 1948, but Alfred Butts was the actual inventor. Since then the board and box have undergone some cosmetic changes, but the game and it’s pieces remain the same. This is a fun word game for 2-4 players. This is the fourth printed edition which dates from 1976, but this set was produced in 1982.
