Here is a nice vintage Phil Becker surfboard. Phil passed in 2021. Interesting old fin. Nice color resin tint bottom, light suntan top. Blank appears to be a Yater V stringer… this would have come from Grubby Clark at Clarkfoam. In fairly good shape, solid. Has some sloppy repairs. It will be easy to restore this beauty. Rick surfboards era; No logo, no label, my guess is it’s a custom for a friend. Number is 1635. This is one of the all-time most prolific shapers in the history of California surfing.
