National Holistic Institute (NHI) is seeking passionate, a dedicated Massage Therapy Instructor to join our high-energy, student-centered team in Santa Ana. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced massage therapists who enjoy teaching, mentoring, and shaping the next generation of professionals in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Position Overview
As a Massage Therapy Instructor, you will play a vital role in educating, guiding, and inspiring students throughout their academic and clinical journey. Instructors contribute both in the classroom and clinic while supporting students’ academic success and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach a variety of courses, including bodywork modalities, massage sciences, clinic practices, and foundational massage therapy concepts
• Serve as a primary instructor or provide instructional support, with comprehensive internal training provided
• Supervise students in the public clinic, ensuring safe, professional, and effective application of massage techniques
• Mentor and support students through academic challenges and external obstacles affecting program completion
• Participate in campus projects, community initiatives, sports events, and other school activities that foster a strong learning community

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of professional massage therapy experience required
• Advanced Neuromuscular Massage experience preferred but not required
• Minimum 500 Hour Massage Therapy Certificate required
• Teaching experience is a plus, but not mandatory — motivated professionals new to teaching are encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Self motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with a positive, professional attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with email, file management, internet research, and social media
• Bachelor’s degree not required; continuing education and additional certifications are strongly encouraged
Schedule & Employment Type
• 40hr mostly days
Compensation
• $23.00hr and up based on experience
