Flux is non corrosive (rosin), leave it on the joints, but if you want, use alcohol or trichlor or? to clinically clean from pc boards. I will even demonstrate proper techniques on copper, brass, tin plate even steel. That's right, steel.
Solder alloy is 60Sn 40Pb tin/lead.
