Fast-growing local general contractor looking for an experienced Part-Time Construction Estimator to join our team.
We specialize in custom residential construction, ADUs, as well as commercial warehouse and tenant improvement projects. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and help us keep up with our growing workload.
What You'll Do:
• Prepare construction estimates for residential and commercial projects
• Perform detailed material takeoffs from blueprints
• Create conceptual estimates from preliminary layouts or sketches
• Solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Review plans and help develop accurate project budgets
What We're Looking For:
• 5-10+ years of construction estimating experience preferred
• Strong blueprint reading and quantity takeoff skills
• Experience estimating residential, commercial, or both
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Current knowledge of construction costs and building methods
Position Details:
