Pirates Dinner Adventure is looking for Retail Manager who is responsible for the overall vision, direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Retail sales. Retail Manager will be establishing and be maintaining guest services, for the tasks involved in the overall operation in the Gift Shop department including maximizing sales and profitability assisting with various developing staff, controlling expenses and shortages, and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assigning employees to specific duties to include a daily checklist
Ensuring that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of guest services
Assisting in implementing floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenance
Preparing requisitions to replenish merchandise
Formulating pricing policies on merchandising according to requirements for profitability for retail operations
Maintaining operation records and preparing daily transaction records
Assisting guest on inquiries and complaints
Locking and security department at night
Maintaining and assisting employees in obtaining new product knowledge
Encouraging, assisting, and training employees to become a motivated sales force
Making weekly schedules
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Proven leadership experience
Ability to develop and motivate a team of up to 12 employees
Able to resolve complaints and problems as they arise from customers and employees
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Requires standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms
Occasionally lift/or move up to 30 pounds.
This position is a full-time/non-exempt employee with benefits
Compensation $15.00 per hour
