Steele Group Property Management is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Property Management Assistant who is already familiar with AppFolio and understands the fast pace of residential property management. We manage homes, HOAs, and multi-unit properties throughout Southern California and are looPleking for someone who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities Include:
Managing tenant and owner communications with professionalism and care
Processing applications, leases, renewals, and move-in/move-out tasks in AppFolio
Coordinating maintenance requests and vendor scheduling
Preparing notices, reports, and digital files
Monitoring rent collections, late payments, and owner statements
Assisting with property marketing and vacancy postings
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of AppFolio experience (required)
Previous experience in property management or real estate preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of California landlord-tenant practices a plus
Must be located in the U.S. and available during regular business hours (Pacific Time)
