RARE. I purchased two old vw’s in a package deal. One is a 1969 Karmann Ghia convertible that had been sitting in the corner of the gentleman’s back yard for around 38 years. It had a 1970 911S engine sort of installed in it. Engine build 911/02 #6300089. I've been told the bottom end is a 1970 911s and the original mechanical injection was removed and Weber carbs installed. One Case half is #901.101.101.2R and the other half is #901.101.102.1R. Attached to the engine is a 1968 911 TARGA 5 speed 902/1 transmission #3280585. I BELIEVE THEY ONLY MADE ABOUT 2200 OF THESE ENGINES. I WOULD LOVE TO FIND THE CHASSIS THESE BELONG IN. . I’m not a pro on the old Porsche’s but know this is valuable to the right person with the right car. This motor belongs in a 1970 911s.
