This car is a numbers matching project car. My brother suffered a stroke before he was able to assemble, forcing sale.
The 390 engine is ready for assembly with all new parts. All of the machine work on the heads, crankshaft, and block are completed. The new .030 pistons are on reconditioned rods with ARP bolts. The crankshafts rods and main journals are .010. The new bearings, rings, lifters, push rods, CJ camshaft are included. Includes one year only exhaust manifolds. New brass freeze plugs, and a box of new oil galley plugs. Too many small parts to complete this build included.
There's over $8,500 invested in this engine. Every part is there, machine work completed, ready to assemble.
The rebuilt Ford Toploader 4-speed transmission is complete with a Hurst shifter. Fully rebuilt drive shaft by Driveshaft Specialties.
The car includes 4 Magnum wheels with new radial tires. New paint, newly chromed bumpers, and all lettering and trim installed.
The hood needs painting. NEW carpet kit, headliner, and factory color reupholstered front bucket and rear bench seat. New window regulators, dash pad, and gage panel. The original steering wheel will need to be rebuilt.
New gas tank, finished intake manifold with factory fittings, and numbers matching, beautifully rebuilt factory 600cfm carburetor.
Ford didn't offer front disc brakes on the 1966 Fairlane, but this includes the conversion kit from drum brakes to disc brakes. That includes new rotors, calipers, backing plates, and a dual master. Also, new emergency brake cables and hardware.
Includes the original bell housing, machined flywheel, clutch assembly, block plate, new Z-bar, cross member, etc....
The factory correct radiator, water pump, 7 blade clutch fan are included. Also, 6 cans of factory Ford blue engine paint.
There's so many new parts accumulated the past 7 years, I am sure I've overlooked many.
