Rare Antique Photograph of the United Mine Workers of America, circa 1913-25.

Boonville, Indiana. Local Union 2343.
The UMW of A was formed in 1890 and is a North American labor union best known for representing coal miners.
The Boonville, Indiana courthouse in the background was completed in 1912.
The 48 star flags in the pictures places this photo July, 1912 or later.
The style and dress of the individuals in the pictures appears to be from 1912-1920 or so.
The background shows the east side of the town square and the fronts of those buildings appear different after 1925 in other photos I have researched on-line.
Condition is very good as seen in the photos.

Rare piece of coal mining history, or early Union history.

Photo measures 9 5/8" wide x 7 1/2" tall.
Carboard measures 14" wide x 12" tall.
