Seeking a qualified candidate for Sales & Clerical position handling personal property insurance claims. Our company is hired by insurance companies to research and appraise items lost on insurance personal property and business claims. Extensive knowledge of any of the following is strongly desired, but not required:
Industrial Construction Equipment, Heavy Machinery, Lawn, Farm & Agricultural Equipment, Restaurant Equipment, Auto Repair Shop Tools, Consumer Electronics & Appliances, Photo & Video Equipment, Collectibles, Art, Musical Instruments, Firearms & Sporting Goods, Jewelry, China & Flatware, Rugs, Furs etc.
You will be entering lists of claimed items into an Excel spreadsheet detailing the description, quantities, age of item and claimed value. You will then research and shop all items to determine an accurate replacement cost. We hold direct accounts with manufacturer's and distributors nationwide and also help with physical replacement of any item lost on a claim.
Must be experienced with Microsoft Excel; able to take direction and multitask; and have professional communication skills/etiquette in spoken and written communications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Data entry, 40WPM+, Client Spreadsheets
• QC client customer base
• Working with customers, vendors and adjusters via phone & Email
• Strong sales & communication skills
• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Excel
• Organizational skills
• Able to communicate in oral and written form
• Basic Math skills
• Social Media Experience a plus
Work Environment: Office setting.
Job type: 32 Hrs. to Full time
Salary: $13+ Depending on experience (Salary + Commission)
