Americor is an innovative finance technology company, with a unique approach to debt resolution. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Summons Administrator to join the Summons Team in our Negotiations department.

The Summons Admin is the main point of contact for a client that has received a summons. As the Summons Admin, you will walk the client through the process of responding to their summons to avoid receiving a default judgment, without giving legal advice. Someone with administrative and customer service experience in an office environment would be successful in this role.

Summons Admin Responsibilities:

** Maintain constant communication with clients via Email, text message, and phone calls to keep everyone apprised of new information and account status
** Handle escalated calls regarding the legal process, provide outstanding customer service and guidance without giving legal advice
** Managing all documentation that pertains to the Client's account
** Work with 3rd party Attorney firms to coordinate and manage the Attorney document preparation.
** Ensure important file dates and/or due dates and hearing dates are not missed
** Maintain open communication with the Negotiations team
** Update the CRM with notes and to create tasks for negotiators to maintain assigned legal accounts

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

** 1+ year experience working in an administrative or customer service capacity in the legal or debt settlement field is required
** Outstanding ability to multi-task, able to speak with clients on the phone while documenting information in the CRM
** Must be able to accurately type 30-40 wpm
** Superb attention to detail
** Highly organized
** Comfortable utilizing scripts to provide the client with information regarding their summons
** A general understanding of the debt settlement process and how litigated accounts are negotiated is preferred
** Able to calmly handle escalated issues with frustrated clients
** Technically savvy, able to use MS Office, efax and maintain comprehensive notes in the CRM
** Understand that we are not attorneys and that we will only tell clients to respond to the summons, not give advice on how to respond
** Bilingual-Spanish is preferred
