I am a 50 yr old guitarist.
I am attempting to form a band of like minded individuals
(need 1 guitar, drums bass, and a versatile singer) who are interested in real old school music.
I am looking for musicians who enjoy playing music, who get a rush from it.
I have assembled a list of tunes I think will be enjoyable to play as well as nostalgic in its ability to take you back in time.
This list was compiled simply and is meant to entice others by offering a piece of your childhood in musical form.
I know there are thousands of you out there cause I've played with many...you can't all be dead yet.
This list is meant to be a starting point..hope to add songs as members join.

This list is a compilation of tunes I felt create momentum and make people move.
This is not set in stone and is open to change as members input their favorites.
I am old school as listed above..I'm not into Guns and Rose's, Nirvana, RHCPs..I grew up on that stuff..just doesn't have the same weight to me..
I dig yacht rock, Steeley Dan , Doobies, Christopher Cross etc as well..
Would love to add some Heart,Def Leppard, Scorpions,Iron Maiden, Priest, Rainbow , Deep Purple(if a keyboard player joins)..etc;
Again this is just a starting point..I think this is a good mix and will grow over time.
The band's now I have found don't seem to practice.
The last gig I had the drummer and singer used I pads to "remember" the changes?
In my youth we would actually learn the songs front to back..and use our brains to recall the information.
Now it seems to be a lost art.
This is my attempt to manifest a situation that I feel is necessary.
We need a band like this.
We need this music!
So all you Fuckers that miss the sounds and the rush of adrenaline these tunes provide please help me create this project.
I need You and a few others. I believe this could be great.
Worst case scenario is you get some time to decompress from life once or twice a week.
And that ain't bad either..
I really want this to happen
