Our as-of-yet unnamed, multi-genre, four-piece band is in search of a (preferably) female percussion player (who can sing) to learn, and workshop, five to seven original songs, for the recording of our upcoming EP. We are in the process of auditioning female lead vocalists. You'd be to locking down the time, driving the rhythms, and singing (back-up, harmonies, possible lead on a song depending on feel). Once we nail down the jams, and tighten up the grooves, we can add lead guitar.

Currently, the band consists of myself (rhythm, writer, backing vox), bass, keys, and drums. We just recently added our bass player, and she's in the process of familiarizing herself with the repertoire. She is well versed in groove, and we are excited to have her musical sensibilities in the group. Our drummer grew up playing punk, has spent the last decade delving into an array of the eclectic and bizarre, and is a proponent of Grateful Dead music. We practice at his space in Fullerton (it has a drum set, a PA, monitors, and a mixing board) Growing up in Texas, our keyboard player is a consummate psychedelic rocker, with legitimate country/western roots.

Here is a link to my SoundCloud page. We've only played together four times as a four piece, so these are (very) rough live versions of "Heads In The Cloud" and "The Moment". We will be recording these songs for the EP. Simple versions of the same songs, and a third, called "Hard Livin'", that the band is currently learning, are on the SoundCloud page as well.

These songs are open to interpretations, both melodically and stylistically. Our hope is, when we find the right percussionist, their musical influences, and intuitions, can help us even further shape the direction, and feel, of the band's sound. So if this sounds like you, and you read this ad, and you say to yourself : "This really isn't the music I'd like to make", consider what it could be, if you became involved with the project, and helped push the art into interesting and different musical topographies.

If you know who Moe Tucker or Shiela E. are we should jam. That's exactly what we are looking for.

Give us a shot.
