Hey Everyone!!
Please do not pay ReAmp for Pro Tools lessons. They want $50 an hour and they are only operator certified. You can get Certified Pro Tools Instructors to teach you how to record, mix, and master your songs on Pro Tools for only about $4 an hour which includes your Pro Tools instruction text book. Just go to Riverside City College website and check out the courses Music 8A, Music 8B, Music 9, and Music 10. This is a State funded program which will teach you enough to start your own studio, or work for a media company, or record your own music if that is all you want to do. You can learn how to record, mix, and master in just one class - Music 8A. The other classes are for those who want to record for a living. Riverside City College also has a course on Final Cut Pro - which is a video editing program that will teach you how to create your own music videos. You can also learn how to make music videos using Media Composer at Valley College in San Bernardino if you want to use a program that will run in PC or Apple computer. So STOP PAYING OUT THE YING YANG FOR RECORDING SESSIONS. And don't waste your time on so-called CL recording lesson ads that charge $50 or $60 an hour and call legitimate credentialed institutions a "waste of time." These Craigslisters attended school to learn studio recording for $4 an hour but want you to pay them $50 or $60 an hour. And they are not even credentialed teachers nor are they Pro Tools Certified Instructors. So learn how to record professional quality with just one class at Riverside City College - or any other community college that offers studio recording for $4 an hour. And get taught by Certified Pro Tools Instructors who are also credentialed teachers with master degrees. You will be surrounded by hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of the latest recording equipment and software as well as dozens of helpful advanced Pro Tools students and Certified Pro Tools Instructors who will provide you with 1 on 1 instruction anytime you want. I am a student there. I know. I said goodbye to recording studios after the first class. I set up my own Pro Tools home studio for the price of recording two songs at these overpriced garage studios. So sign up now! Studio recording classes are becoming the norm at many community colleges. Fall 2018 registration is now open!! Apply now. You don't need a high school diploma to attend. So don't waste money on recording studios. Learn how to record yourself with just one class. Then buy yourself some recording equipment with the money saved. Or get yourself another guitar. Here's a link to many local community colleges that offer audio recording:
