We are a newly formed Emo/Hardcore band based out of Huntington Beach/Costa Mesa seeking a drummer to complete our lineup. We're rooted in that raw, emotional wave of early-to-mid 2000s post-hardcore—think Coheed and Cambria, Circa Survive, Glassjaw, At The Drive-In, Thrice, Thursday, The Fall of Troy, Alexisonfire, Saosin, Sunny Day Real Estate, etc. Additionally, we incorporate newer influences from the more radio-friendly Emo that’s come out in the past couple decades like Turnstile, Fall Out Boy (early), and MCR (Three Cheers and before).
Essentially, we are looking for someone who:
Is in their mid 20’s-early 30’s
Has their own gear (at cymbals and snare as we have access to a kit)
Loves all or most of the bands listed above
Has availability (i.e. not overcommitting)
Can play moderately complex arrangements
