Selling my 1989 Epiphone Sheraton. I’ve gone back and forth on this one, but I just picked up a new Telecaster, so this one needs a new home.
Why it’s cool:
Built in October 1989 at the Samick factory in Korea
These late-’80s Sheratons are known for great craftsmanship and tone
Hard to find in this age and condition
Specs:
Weight: 8 lbs 13.9 oz
Nut width: 43.5mm (~1.7")
Fresh strings: Ernie Ball 11–48, top-wrapped for extra bend and sustain
Comes with a SKB-style hard case
Condition:
Honest vintage wear—binding has aged nicely
Gold hardware has faded (pickup covers basically no longer gold)
Minor crack at the nut (NOT a headstock break, solid and stable)
Some fret wear in lower positions
Small ding on back of neck behind 5th fret
Neck binding shows some wear on bass side
This guitar is 36 years old and full of character. Plays great, sounds amazing, and has that vintage vibe you can’t fake.
