Premier early 1950's Super Ace 14"x5.5" snare drum. Shell is 3ply birch with beech reinforcement rings. Has (8) original lugs with original mounting screws and washers, original slotted tension rods with washers, original top and bottom diecast hoops, original throw off and butt end, original tone control, original parallel mechanism. Finish is original white duroplastic but has faded to a creme white (still looks good). Has new custom made snare wires. Drum will come with original wires. Parallel mechanism has four rubber bumpers that were removed due to cracking and will be included with drum. They were glued but impossible to reinstall. Adjustment knob threads on butt end are bent but still functions. Have an extra original adjustment knob that will be included. Throw off adjustment knob is fine, no issues. When wires are in the up position the throw off end does not lay flat on the snare beds. I don't know why. Maybe something has worn on the mechanism over the years. That is why there is tape on that end to help the wires lay flat. See pic #14. This drum has been described as best as possible and is sold without returns or refunds. Selling for $250. Any questions please ask. Thank you.
