This vintage 1950s mic is a re-badged version of a classic Turner S95D microphone. It comes equipped with an XLR cable and table top stand as shown and includes a switch for turning the mic on and off. As the badge indicates, it is a low impedance version (there was also a high impedance version sold when these were on the market).
I don’t have any accurate specifications for the mic. Cosmetically it is in very good shape for its age as the pics show. The on/off switch functions as it should. The mic sounds very “lo-fi” so I’m not fully sure the diaphragm capsule is in perfect condition though it looks intact. I really don’t know what this mic SHOULD sound like but put up against a 70s Shure SM58 it has very low output comparatively and a nasally midrange peak that makes it prone to feedback. While it produces sound, it doesn’t seem too useful other than for lo-fi effect or as a stage prop. It will surely look good on a collectors' shelf!
