This is an awesome and unique guitar from Guild. The offset body shape is extremely comfortable and the guitar is very light. It has a 25.5" maple neck and it feels very similar to a Fender neck from the 70s, but without so much lacquer. It's very smooth and fast. The guitar has a vintage theme to it and that includes the humbucker pickups which were designed to sound like a vintage Guild humbucker. They sound great with a nice chime, slightly closer to a single coil sound compared to an average humbucker.
One of the on/off switches for the pickups was replaced with a regular 3 way selector switch. The other on/off switch isn't connected to anything. If you're into modding then you can use this switch for anything you want. You can wire it to be a kill switch, or you can install an effects circuit and use the switch to turn the effect on or off. Just a few ideas if you're into tinkering.
Also the pots are push-pull so you can split the coils of each pickup independently. This means in the middle position you can have the neck split and bridge humbucker, or neck humbucker and bridge split, or both humbucker, or both split. Lots of tonal options are available. The reason I'm selling is because I prefer Gibson scale length, so this one doesn't get nearly as much use as it deserves. I know someone else will get a lot more use out of it.
