Astin Weight 1965 Upright Piano - $1,800 (San Clemente)

For sale a charming 1965 vintage American made Astin-Weight Upright Piano in great condition and great working order. It is being sold by the original owners who purchased it in the mid 1960’s new. The piano was only played for about a year very lightly so the hammers and mechanism have hardly any wear.
It has been well taken care of in a clean home and has never been in storage. It is currently in San Clemente if you wish to look at it.
The Astin-Weight pianos are unique in their design and this one provides a very rich, organic, crisp, warm and detailed sound. The is serial # 7039.
The sound board is 38” x 59" and sounds huge for this style of piano. All the keys and pedals work great and the piano was tuned about 5 years ago and will probably have to be tuned if it is moved. I've provided plenty of pics to show the condition. I'm not sure of the color. It has a very fine grain like walnut but very light, perhaps pecan. I have over 100 extra pictures if you need to see something specific.
The bench was purchased with the piano but is not made by Astin-Weight and was refinished to match the piano and has faded with time. Feel free to contact me for more information.
