This is possibly it! My last builds!! Due to my cancer and the treatments These two pieces may be my last builds. I would like to thank everyone for your support! To those who currently own one of my builds. I hope you are enjoying it as much as I had building it! That being said. Here are the specs;
Guitar:
Body-- Three piece African Mahogany body with a tummy contour and arm bevel. A Ebonized Cherry open grain Nitro finished with a flat clearcoat.
Neck-- 50s style chunky one piece African Mahogany neck. Indian Rosewood board, 24.625 scale (old school Gibson) with 22 nickel jumbo frets, 12" radius, bone nut dyed black, mop dot fret markers, Grover mid size tuners with nickel keystone knobs!!
Pickups-- Earl Slick p90s, 8.0 in the neck and 9.3 in the bridge!
Controls/Hardware-- TOM style bridge (Korean origin), nickel stop tailpiece, Master volume/ Master tone, CTS 500k pots, three way switch, and a .033uf cap.
This thing kicks!! The pickups have that killer growl when pushed and plays great!! Weighs in at a beefy 8lbs/14ozs
Bass:
Body-- Three piece African Mahogany with tummy contour and arm bevel. Finished in an open grain Ebonized Cherry nitro with a flat clearcoat.
Neck-- One piece African Mahogany Slim tappered 30.5" scale, Indian Rosewood board, 14" radius, 22 stainless steel jumbo frets, Tusq nut, mop dot markers, and large key modern style tuners.
Pickups-- Bartiloni style pickups. These are imports but are very articulate and balanced.
Hardware/Controls-- Gibson EBO style bridge, Master volume, Master tone, CTS 250k pots, three way switch, .047 Orange cap.
This plays and sounds great!! Tone is very responsive with good variations! I am not a bass player so the set up might not be perfect.
Sold only as a set!!! These pieces have that Gothic look. Very appropriate for the Halloween holiday If you come over to play these. I do not have a bass amp. If you need to hear the bass through a bass amp. You must bring your own!! Thanks!!!
