The guitar has been refinished in gloss metallic black, including the neck. All hardware has been replaced with period correct hand made solid brass parts from fretsonthenet.com that are starting to get a beautiful patina. This includes the pickup rings, electronics cover, tailpiece and bridge. Period correct brass knobs are also added. The tuners are Charvel custom shop brass. Headstock logo replaced with Jackson PCS repro logo. The headstock logo was added before the new paint was cleared, so it is under the clear and appears completely flat under the clear. Unlogo'd Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck and JB in the bridge have been wired exactly like Randy's orginal with push pull coil splits and out of phase push/pull on the tone knob.
This is an amazing guitar now - plays and sounds like it should. Comes with hardshell Jackson case. If you've always wanted a Jackson Rhoads PCS, but don't want to pay $5K, this is as close as it gets for way less.
