VERY good condition very little use. Originally was an HSS w/off-white PG & the standard strat ceramic HSS pickups.
Back side of the lower horn, has a cpl of scratches in the clear coat, tried to get a pic of them.
Other wise, finish is in great condition, solid, no chips, dings or other significant scratches, this guitar lived in a case or on a wall most of its life there are signs of use but no damage, no abuse.
Significant work was invested to make this a much nicer than average MIM Strat.
I found a brand new '23 Fender Special Run limited edition loaded strat body that I ended up using for another project.
The loaded pickguard with all the FSR spec. electronics was unloaded and everything was swapped to a brand new white pearl PG, and installed on this guitar.
Fender "FSR" Strats guitars get upgraded Alnico5 pickups with a better quality humbucker + upgaded single coil pickups with individual pole magnets vs the standard ceramic bar magnet pickups on MIM strats, FSR's also get full size pots and a proper Oak/Grigsby 5 way switch and upgraded capacitor vs mini pots, chicket caps, and a box type 5 way switch.
I had these upgrades done intending to keep the guitar...soon after I finished it, I found another guitar I couldnt resist, so one has to go.
All work performed professionally:
- Control cavities cleaned prepped and shielded with 3 coats of shielding paint + a clear coat.
- FSR -Fender Special Run limited edition HSS electronics complete (Upgraded A5 pickups, 5way switch, pots, caps..) installed on a new pearl white copper tape shielded pickguard.
Original MIM strat/white + FSR strat/black, loaded pickguards pictured for component spec comparison.
- Machined Brass block saddles w/custom shortened grub screws on low 'E/A' string saddles for more comfortable playing when set to neck radius. (Original Fender bent steel saddles included)
- New chrome "F" logo heel plate installed w/new hardware. (Original chrome plate included)
- Graph-tech nut installed
- Roller string trees installed.
- Billet brass trem. claw w/brass hardware installed.
- Notched PRS trem. screws installed: Improve tuning stability/trem action/performance
(Trem. pivot 'knife edges' ride and pivot in the notches just under the heads of the 6 mounting screws - both OE and PRS

stability w/agressive trem use..)
- setup: Nut slots cut properly/lubed (NutSauce) Fretboard edges rolled, frets leveled, ends rounded, smoothed, and
all frets mirror polished, no wear. Neck relief, string height set average, vs low.
- Fretboard cleaned, treated w/Howard's Feed 'n' Wax, finished w/"Fret Dr." fretboard treatment oil,
- Br. new DiAddario EXL 9-46 strings installed.
This guitar and neck feels and plays like it has been played regularly and 'worn in' over the last 15+ years. the guitar sounds fantastic.
Includes Trem. bar, allen wrenches for truss rod/saddle height. The guitar plays better than my all original hardly touched 2020 USA made limited edition Pale Moon Ebony strat that lives in a case.

*1st person to buy the guitar for asking price, gets a br. new clip on tuner + a new MXR Prime Distortion pedal as a bonus, rarely used. Tested and working perfectly. (sounds good,..way too many OD/Distortion pedals).
