This is a USA 1980 fender vintage Stratocaster called “the Strat” and it’s in really nice condition and plays like a dream. It has not seen much playing time in its 45 years of life as it’s very clean except for a couple of little dings on the side. The bridge and knobs and neck plate are actually real gold plating on this model. The tuning keys in 1980 and 81 where regular chrome as production of them in gold were not ready yet. Interesting fun fact. The neck was headstock was made from the old tooling, before they switched over to the fat head headstock which gave it its unique appearance. Anyway, this is a killer guitar with amazing sounding original all stock electronics. The last tone knob is actually a switch for even more tones. Only made this style for 3 years I’m pretty sure. Comes with an excellent hard case. I think it’s a GandG case which fender used them.
