For sale is my Fender American Standard Jazz Bass Guitar (2012), plus Fender case. This is a MADE IN USA Fender guitar (see headstock). Now available at a REDUCED PRICE.

Also included are the truss rod wrench, two Allen wrenches for bridge/saddle adjustment, the case key, and the Owner’s Manual. I am the original owner of the guitar, case, and accessories.

The instrument is stock. I have not made any changes to it and it has never required any repairs. It has never been gigged with and has been out of my non-smoking home only once.

Weight is 9 lbs 6 oz (which is a typical weight for a Fender Jazz Bass). The bass has an alder body, maple neck, and beautiful rosewood fretboard. The color is Blizzard Pearl.

The guitar is in very good to excellent shape cosmetically. There is some minor wear on the pickguard where it meets the truss rod access port at the body end of the neck. There are minor scratches on the pickguard and control plate and some tarnishing of the metal parts. There is a small reddish patch on the back of the headstock which can be seen in the photos. This is NOT due to damage – it was present on the instrument when I bought it and looks like a slight coloration oddity in the wood. There are also a few VERY slight scratches and scuffs on the body which are hard to photograph. Other than these minor cosmetic issues, the guitar does not have any significant dings, scratches, or scrapes.

There is no significant fret wear. The electronics function flawlessly and as designed. The guitar is currently strung with Fender 7250M strings (.045-.105). The action and neck relief are set at Fender factory specifications.

The case has some minor scuffing, but is overall in very good cosmetic condition. All functional aspects of the case are excellent: the hinges, latches, and handle all work perfectly.
