Multi-tube preamp, solid state power amp.
1-12" speaker and 1 tweeter.
Attenuation for tweeter is adjustable at the rear of the amp.
150 watts.
Great for recording or smaller venues.
Separate gain and master volume controls.
Loads of tone shaping features.
Bass:
Bass knob is a cut/boost at 40hz from center. Pull the bass knob and the cut/boost shifts to 80hz from center.
Ultra low switch enhances deep bass.
Treble:
Treble knob is a cut/boost at 5khz from center. Pull the treble knob and the cut/boost shifts to 10khz from center.
Ultra high switch enhances upper harmonic tones.
Mid-range:
Cut/boost from 200 to 600hz (depending on pull/shift settings on the bass and treble knobs).
Should you want to take center stage, the "Solo voice control" contours your sound and the "Solo boost control" increases your signal output.
Lastly, there are two inputs for the speaker.
One is a standard input while the other gives you a "contoured" sound with reduced mid frequencies.
With all that said, this thing gives you a ton of tonal control with that smooth tube sound Ampeg is famous for.
Octo-coupler limiter (whatever the hell that is) assures no distorted signal.
Balance out pre-post EQ XLR jack.
Amplifier section is removable as a single rack space amplifier.
Dimensions are:
21" wide x 18.5" high x 13" deep, so it easily fits in your front car seat. 63 lbs.
Has a strap handle on top of the amp and spring-loaded handles on each side (use those).
I've never seen a tube bass amp this portable.
