Kauer Banshee Deluxe - $3,000 (Encinitas)

The guitar is in near-mint condition. I am very conservative in my descriptions -- better to under-promise and over-deliver, right? -- and this truly is near-mint. Not a mark, dent, scratch on it...there may be light pickguard swirling, but I can't see it.
The Banshee is Kauer's take on a Firebird, obviously. Here are the specs for this one:
-Pelham Blue front, with matching headstock, Vintage brown back and neck
-Paint Grade maple top, Spanish Mahogany body and neck through
-Hardware: Rickard Banjo Tuners, TonePros Tune-O-Matic and Stop Tail
-Wolfetone Kauerbuckers
-Wenge fretboard: 22 Jescar 47095NS frets, 12” radius, 1.70” nut width (Plek’d!)
-.87” at the 1st fret, 0.99” at the 12th fret, Standard C shape
-7 lbs 12 oz.
Kauers are special guitars. I have owned Tom Andersons, Suhrs, Novo, Fender Custom Shop, etc. -- Kauer's build quality and workmanship is a step above even those guitars. Playability is outstanding, and the combination of the Spanish mahogany body and the Wolfetone pickups yields a beautiful, articulate humbucker tone. The neck is a tad big for my small hands, otherwise I'd never sell this one.
Comes with a nicely padded softshell case. Firebird-fitting cases are usually enormous and heavy...this is one is much more manageable, but still protective.
This is priced several $hundred below Reverb used prices (on the very Banshees that you can even find on the used market). Not interested in any trades, thanks.
