I acquired it in January 2025. It has gone through extensive restoration to make it the bike it is today. Listed on cycletrader with many more pics.
Less than 1000 miles on the bike since the restoration was done. All of the numbers match, it is currently registered in California and titled in my name. New tires, new battery, new brakes, rebuilt rear master cylinder, New front and rear chain, both diamond. New valves and guides, stock bore. Copper head gaskets.
Completely rebuilt original Kehin carburetor with brass inlet upgrade. Still retains a points style ignition.
Original speedometer showed 12,000 miles, this is why the cylinders still retain crosshatch and have never been bored.It failed about 100 miles into the break-in of the top end rebuild.It will come with the purchase, but there is a properly functioning one on the bike that reads 22,000.
The bike was originally red, (The last picture shows it the way it was found) but both tanks had leaks in the seams. I sourced an original set of Harley tanks and had the front and rear fenders painted to match. The color is sunburst bronze. All of the lights and switches work as they should.
All of the parts used on the build are genuine Harley-Davidson, correct part numbers with the correct suffix.I will not use aftermarket junk.
Both the black and the brown comfort flex seats come with the bike. The windshield shown on it when I got it is included. I believe it was made by national cycle, it didnt say Harley thats why its not on the bike. text 714 three fifty seven, thirty twenty seven.
If youre interested in a classic AMF Harley you would be hard pressed to find a nicer one, contact me and take it out for a test drive. You literally cant build it for what Im asking. I have three bikes and little time to ride
