A growing healthcare technology and medical device company in Cypress is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Intake Operator I to support 2nd shift operations. This role is responsible for processing returned medical monitoring devices, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting quality and safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
• Receive and process returned medical monitoring devices
• Verify patient and device information for accuracy
• Upload and manage device data within proprietary software systems
• Follow company SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, ISO, OSHA, and quality standards
• Keep intake and production areas clean and organized
• Support recycling and material handling processes
• Identify and report quality, safety, or process concerns
• Maintain accurate documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Participate in Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and departmental goals
Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Reliable, accountable, and able to meet deadlines consistently
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer and data entry skills preferred
• Experience in medical device, manufacturing, production, or regulated environments is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds as needed
