A renowned American guitar manufacturer with decades of instrument-building heritage is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our production team. This is an opportunity to bring precision craftsmanship to instruments played by musicians around the world, working hands-on with the machines that shape our guitar and bass components.
Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and run CNC machines to fabricate guitar and bass components to precise specifications
- Perform machine setups, including loading programs, selecting and installing tooling, and configuring fixtures/workholding for new production runs
- Check finished parts against blueprints and quality tolerances using precision measuring instruments
- Interface with CAD engineers to review part designs, troubleshoot programs, and refine tooling for new or revised parts
- Monitor machine performance during production runs and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Perform routine machine maintenance and follow all shop safety procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience operating a CNC mill required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Comfortable using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
