Job description:
+ Document Interpretation: Read and navigate schematics, wiring diagrams. Understand staking & conformal coating, and assembly instructions
+ Staking: Perform high quality hand staking using semi-automated fluid dispensing equipment
+ Conformal Coating: Set up and monitor automated conformal coating machine
+ Soldering & Rework: Perform high quality through hole and surface mount hand soldering, desoldering, and wire-tinning
+ Quality Inspection:
+ Staking: Visually inspect completed boards to verify correct staking volume, lack of voiding, and that no active component leads or solder pads were accidentally covered
+ Conformal Coating: Use long-wave ultraviolet inspection method to verify complete, uniform coating coverage and identify defects like bubbles, runs, fish-eyes, or voids
+ Testing & Troubleshooting: Use basic electrical test equipment like multimeters to verify voltage, continuity, and basic circuit function
+ Safety Adherence: Follow strict electrostatic discharge (ESD) handling procedures and keep workstations clean and grounded
+ Industry Standards: Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001
Qualification:
A high school diploma and experience in electronic soldering, assembly, and testing, or a related technical background. Ability to read work orders, follow production drawings, written/verbal instructions, and sample assemblies. Experience with electronic instruments and mechanical hand tools. Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively, and carry out orders. Good written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, motivation, self-reliance, and honesty. Be able to carry 50 LB. US Citizenship or Green Card required.
