We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Printing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of printing processes, color management, and quality control standards. Responsibilities
Operate and monitor printing machines such as presses, printers, and screen printing equipment to ensure optimal performance
Prepare print jobs by setting up machines according to specifications, including adjusting color settings and layout designs
Conduct prepress tasks such as file preparation, layout adjustments, and ensuring compatibility with printing equipment
Manage color accuracy through effective color management techniques to meet client standards
Perform quality control inspections throughout the printing process to detect defects or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments
Maintain safety protocols and proper machine maintenance routines to ensure operational efficiency
Collaborate with the design team on typography, layout design, and print advertising projects
Operate material handling equipment for loading raw materials or finished products when necessary
Utilize machining skills for minor repairs or adjustments on printing machinery
Document production data accurately for tracking and reporting purposes
Requirements
Proven experience operating printing machinery such as presses, printers, or screen printing equipment in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of prepress processes, color management, and quality control standards
Familiarity with layout design principles and typography for print media
Basic understanding of machining and operations related to print production equipment
Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and procedures
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams
